ABOUT PPS

PPS was founded in 1941 and is the only mutual financial services company in South Africa dedicated exclusively to graduate professionals. It offers a suite of insurance, investment, and healthcare solutions tailored to its members.

What sets PPS apart is its global cover — from the UK to the USA and everywhere in between — ensuring members are protected whether at home, on holiday, or abroad.

Unlike competitors with external shareholders, PPS operates on a mutual model. Policyholders are also the shareholders, meaning profits are distributed back to members via their Profit-Share Accounts. This unique structure allows PPS to prioritise paying claims and protecting members first — while still helping them build long-term savings through tax-free lump-sum benefits at retirement.
